In 2012, Simone decided to take the leap to entrepreneurship and launched her own jewelry line Holbrooke by s.berry, which namesake was chosen to honor the two greatest influences in her life, her grandparents—Irene Holbrooke and Derrick Berry. Her grandmother who gave her the design foundation and drive to succeed and her grandfather who inspired her to always follow her dreams.
The approach Simone installs within her brand is truly a personal one—she believes in cultivating a relationship with her customers - "the most rewarding thing is to see someone wearing something I created." Simone upholds three specific values when creating—style, quality and passion, in addition to serious belief in supporting philanthropies, donating 10% of all proceeds from her ecommerce shop to humanitarian and environmental charities.
